As part of the Closing Program of the Research and Innovative Skills Development Initiative (RISDI) for Cohort One, our community and guests had the opportunity to listen to a panel discussion about how “Local Perspectives can be shaped for Societal Development and Impact through Research.”
The panel brought together professionals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about societal transformation to share their experiences, insights, and strategies on how research can be tailored to address local challenges, influence policy, and create lasting societal impact.
It was an inspiring exchange of ideas that reminded us that innovation begins when we connect research to improve the quality of our daily realities. Thanks to our panelists and moderator for such an inspiring conversation, and to our entire community and guests for being a part of the closing program of our inaugural cohort.
