In partnership with SMART Liberia, we are excited to launch the recruitment of participants for cohort one of the Research and Innovation Skills Development Initiative. This initiative (Cohort 1) is supported by the School of Environment and Society of the Institute of Science, Tokyo, in Japan.
Are you currently an undergraduate enrolled in a Liberian university or college? Do you have the desire to transform lives through research? This is your opportunity to make a change in Liberia and beyond.
Details of the Training:
Duration: The training will run for four (4) months, from June to September 2025.
Training Days: Every Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Venue: SMART Liberia Office, Adjacent to the EJS Ministerial Complex, Congo Town

- You must be a current undergraduate student enrolled in any of the universities or colleges in Liberia (any major is okay)
- You must have a strong interest in research and innovation
- You must be eager to solve problems
- You must be willing to work in a team
- You must be available and willing to commit fully to the training and project period.
